The Forum contains two functions for communication with vendors - Questions & Answers and Updates
Questions and Answers
Vendors can ask you direct questions from their vendor portal about a listing. When the question is created and when you respond - the question and answer can be made private or public so it is visible for other Vendors.
How do I make questions and answers private?
For Vendors:
When asking a question, you can mark if the question contains sensitive information before submitting the question to ensure it is only visible for the buyer
For Buyers:
If a vendor posts a question that you want to hide from other Vendors, you can Protect it by clicking on the ... action button or when you respond to question, you will have the option to mark it as public.
FYI: All publicly posted questions will always display the Vendors name as 'anonymous' to other Vendors.
Updates
Each update is broadcast to all vendors that have been invited or created a submission to that request.
If an update is posted, all vendors who are subscribed to the listing will receive an email notification.
