What are Performance Metrics?

Performance metrics help measure and track vendor performance over time.

Common metrics include:

  • Delivery reliability

  • Cost savings

  • Compliance

  • Quality of work/product

  • Health and Safety

  • Responsiveness

In your Performance Module Settings, you can set custom metrics tailored to your organisation’s goals and values that flow into the Performance Module within the scorecards used to evaluate your vendor performance.

These insights help drive better decision-making, strengthen vendor relationships, and improve overall procurement efficiency.

How do I add and edit new metrics?

To start off you will want to build out the metrics that will be pulled into your scorecards when you are building them. You may come back to here to add more or edit the existing metrics as you go. So lets look at how we can action this;

  2. Select the 'Modules' option

  3. Open the 'Performance' tab

  4. Edit existing metrics by clicking on the '...' button or add metrics by clicking on '+ Add Metric' button

    • Select or type to create a group (this is used to used to categorise metrics)

    • Create a Name for the metric you are editing/ creating

    • Choose the desired metric type by selecting the unit in which the metric will show in

    • Outline the metric in more detail via the Description box

    • Outline the Methodology for determining the value of the metric
