Setting up your approval workflows
New approval sequences can be added in your settings. You can create as many approval sequences as you like and approval sequences are assigned a name and description. This name can be used to determine what sequence is relevant when a user is going out for approval. For example, the sequence can be named Contracts over $100k in value.
Only account administrators can update these settings
Each approval step is classified by:
Index: The order in which this approval needs to be completed. For example, 1 will always be sent first, then 2, once 1 has been approved.
Approval Type: Label associated with that step.
Users: List of users within each bucket that can be assigned to this step. In order to be assigned as an approver, the user must be assigned the approver role
Optional: An indication of whether that step is mandatory or not. If not mandatory, the requester can choose if they want to include this step.
When sending a contract for approval a single user will be selected from each bucket that is created.
