Creating a Vendor Account
Registering for Cotiss takes five simple steps. You will be asked for some key information about your organisation to create an account and begin responding to procurements.
Head to our Sign up page to create your Cotiss account
Enter your Email Address (This will be the email address you use to log in later), Company Name (Organisation Name) and Industry.
Note: If the domain of your email address matches an existing Cotiss account, you will be prompted to follow the Requesting access to an existing vendor account flow instead
Enter your organisation’s Tax Number (this is optional) and Entity Type (e.g. Sole trader or LLC).
You will then be requested to enter the Country your organisation operates in. Based on the country you choose, you will then be prompted to enter the specific Region your organisation operates in.
At this stage our third party registry verifier will display a list of Organisations that match the information you have provided, to which you can either:
Select the organisation with the correct name and Identifying business number to associate to your Cotiss account
Click on 'My organisation isn't listed here' to proceed with entering your organisations information manually
Note: If you choose to input your information manually, Cotiss requires your Business number. This will be the official number issued by your government when your business was registered.
This requirement is in place so that you and Buyers always know that the correct organisation is associated to your Cotiss account.
Lastly, you will be prompted to enter your personal information (First name, Last name and Phone number if desired) and create your password. This information will make up you user profile and login credentials.
Click 'Join Now' to complete your sign up process and jump into your new Cotiss Vendor account
As part of the sign up flow, you must agree to our terms and conditions by checking the 'I agree to the Terms and Conditions' checkbox.
Requesting access to an existing vendor account
When you go to enter your email address on the sign-up link - If your company already has a Cotiss account, you will receive a pop up notifying you that your organisation may already have an existing account with an option to 'See accounts'.
After clicking on 'See accounts' - All of the Cotiss accounts matching that domain will be displayed for you to select your organisation and join the account.
You will then be sent a magic link to your email address to verify you have access to an email address within that organisations domain.
Follow the link to activate and set up your user profile within your teams vendor account.
