How do I manage user roles and permissions?

Ensure your team is allocated and assigned to relevant modules in the platform

Summary

When you set up your Cotiss account you will initially assign user roles and permissions when you set up a team member however user roles and permissions can be updated at any time, providing granular access to modules within Cotiss.

Tip | Cotiss offers SSO integration for user provisioning if required.

Note | Invited users can be assigned roles that they will have access to on signup and Active users can be updated at any time.

Important | User roles and permissions can only be updated by account administrators.


How do I assign or edit user roles?

Assigning and updating roles can be done on the settings page of Cotiss:

  1. Click on Settings in the bottom left.

  2. Open Team members.

  3. Click on the ... next to the team member you wish to assign new or edit the role of

  4. Select Edit

  5. Select the Role(s) applicable


What are the Permissions for each user role?

Each team member will have different levels of involvement in your Cotiss account so it is important to know what you have given them access to.

Workspace Admin, Procurement Manager and Contract Manager access levels claim a Licensed user seat

Legal, Approver and Evaluator access levels are free and unlimited
